Whether you’re looking for a destination elopement location or a location that takes the stress out of your planning or both, we can help you plan your special day at Mistletoe Bough B&B and Wedding Venue. This post is specifically dedicated to couples who are looking for an intimate wedding ceremony in one of the most romantic settings in Central Alabama.

Matt and Liz get married at Mistletoe Bough in an intimate ceremony.

Mistletoe Bough is located in Alexander City, Alabama. This Queen Anne Victorian home was built in 1895 and is on the National Historic Register, so we are undoubtedly a venue with loads of character and the romantic feel is built right in. This grand home has been a Bed and Breakfast for 31 years and since my husband and I purchased the home nearly 4 years ago, we’ve upheld that tradition. Last year, we added “venue” to our offerings and I’m excited to start highlighting more of our wedding services.

Our elopement packages range in price and begin at $500. The basic package includes your ceremony, officiant, an overnight stay and breakfast in the morning. If you’re looking for a relaxed, intimate, and very personal ceremony, just the two of you we are the only venue in the area that is offering such a unique experience.

We also have several add ons to enhance your experience. One of the most popular is the romance package which includes fresh flowers, chocolate covered strawberries prepared by yours truly and a bottle of wine or champagne. Or, perhaps you’d like to have a little more relaxation during your elopement and decide to add a couples massage. Our massage therapist travels to us from Our Healing Hands in Sylacuaga and will perform massages right in your suite! A Romantic Dinner for Two in our formal dining room might be just the thing you’re looking for.
